The Highlands History Project is a small program with a long horizon. The chapters ship, the archive grows, the oral histories get recorded, year over year. That work is paid for by members — not by ads, not by data, not by upsells.

Institutional partners

We work with the Twin Lights Historical Society, Monmouth County Historical Association, the National Park Service at Gateway, and the Monmouth County Park System. If you represent an institution interested in a collaboration — a joint exhibit, a shared archive grant, an oral history partnership — please write to hello@abovethehook.com.

Phase 2 · Structured membership tiers, monthly and annual, with a printed newsletter and access to unpublished archival material for supporting members.
