Hartshorne Woods County Park, Highlands

The battery today, at the center of Hartshorne Woods County Park. Between 2015 and 2017 the Monmouth County Park System installed a real 16-inch barrel — one of the four removed from the retired battleship USS *New Jersey* — at the east emplacement, matching the original weapon class. The only 16-inch barrel visible in the state.
