Water Witch Historic District, Highlands (approx)
The Water Witch Club — an exclusive summer colony of Shingle-style cottages on the Highlands hillside, planned as a Tuxedo-Park-of-the-shore by Ferdinand Fish and named after Cooper's 1830 novel. A dozen cottages by 1900, most of them designed by architects who commuted from the same summer. Listed on the National Register in 2004 as the Water Witch Club Historic District.
