Bay Avenue dock, Highlands

The dock at the seaward foot of Bay Avenue as it looked in nineteen sixty-two. Four party boats moored side by side. A silver diner on the corner where breakfast and coffee for the six-thirty crowd started at four-thirty a.m. Working captains and mates on the pier. No condominiums on the shore side of the block.
