A name attached to the founding of the Highland Beach resort in this project's working notes, and not yet found in any source we have read. The National Park Service research paper does not mention him and neither does the Sandlass oral history. He is carried here as unverified: we do not know his role, his dates, or whether the association is sound. If the Red Bank Register of the winter of 1887–88 names him, that is where the answer will be.
