Marguerite Sheehan married Henry Sandlass in 1942, just before he shipped out for the war. She kept the books and ran the office at the Sandlass Beach Club through the postwar decades — the private club that succeeded her father-in-law William's original resort. She raised her children in the family building at Highland Beach, wintered upstairs, and packed the household in the spring of 1963 when the state took the property. Her son Harry — Hank — still carries the family archive.
